Please join us for a weekend Paint Out at the Nature Conservancy’s Silver Creek Preserve on Memorial Day weekend! May 25, 26, & 27, 2019 Dozens of anglers hope to catch the “biggest trout”. PAPI artists hope to capture the action on the water, with its beautiful backdrop of mountains and farm fields, in a memorable painting. The Silver Creek meanders through fields and marshlands with plenty of locations to set up for painting en plein air along its banks Silver Creek Paint Out Schedule of Events: Friday: Arrival of artists…locate your camping spot or check into your motel room. Artists may paint throughout the day and dine wherever you choose. For your information, the Picabo General Store is open 7AM -4PM every day. The Store has gas, ice, food, & limited groceries. Also, Bellevue and Hailey have several good restaurants. Saturday: Paint throughout the morning, meet for lunch if you’d like, you may purchase food from (Grumpy’s Wagon) then paint some more! Sunday: Paint throughout the day. There will be a PAPI sponsored BBQ at Pamela Street’s house at 7PM (address will be provided). Artists are free to paint in Pam’s yard, or elsewhere. Monday: Typically a pack-up and travel day…however some artists do enjoy painting in various locations on their way back home (such as the impromptu “Paint Fairfield”).
