DATES TBD Come Paint With Us! Meet at Twin Falls Center for the Arts, 195 River Vista Place, Twin Falls, ID. We will have a short Meet and Greet to help painters decide which local painting spots are of interest.
Directions, maps, and notes about favorite local spots along the Snake River will be available. Painters are encouraged to meet up at this Meet and Greet to plan with other painters about where to paint along the river. The value in painting together reaps many rewards!
Some local favorite parks painting spots close to the Center and along the Snake River include: Shoshone Falls Park and Centennial Park.
In addition, there are canyon views right outside the Center, and also steps away from access to the miles of paved path along the canyon rim. There are many overlook views along the path that make perfect painting spots.
The Visitor's Center, near the Perrine Bridge, is a great spot to see and paint the canyon. You might even see base jumpers parachuting from the bridge. You have 7 seconds to capture their descent!
If you are interested in painting State Parks, information about the Thousand Springs State Parks system, with its varied sections, will be available at the Meet and Greet meeting too.
All painters are welcome! - Work in your choice of medium (water color, acrylic, pastel, oil, etc.) - Artists will need to furnish their own supplies. Don't forget the sunscreen and water! -Lunch is on your own.
