Winter Paint-Outs at EDWARD'S GREENHOUSES PAPI artists will be painting at the greenhouses every Wednesday from 10 till 1 beginning November 6. Bring your lunch and drink. Optional positive critique during lunch. There are restrooms, drinking fountain and a soda machine available. The greenhouse's are thermally heated and make a pleasant place to paint even on the worst winter day. I have also found the nursery staff enjoy putting together compositions using old doors, chairs, bicycles, trellises, pots, flowers and plants. Many are artists in their own right and understand what makes a good painting. I have never looked very hard to find subject matter. There are some nursery courtesies and very reasonable guidelines I will share with all first time visitors so make sure we touch base. In past years there has been opportunity to sell paintings. I will be coordinating with the nursery to insure we will be able to participate in the events they schedule through the winter. This opportunity will be available every Wednesday except Christmas and New Year's Day through the winter. When the greenhouses get too warm the opportunity will end. We will all realize when that time comes. This opportunity will not be listed on Meet-Up as it was in the past.
